WHO AM I

Hi my name is Helle.

I’m a professional Ballroom dancer, teacher, coach and adjudicator. I have over 30 years of teaching experience in ballroom dance socially and competitively at any level as well as wedding dance.

Denmark is where I grew up and started dancing at the age of 3 years old. I moved to London in 1990 to dance and train with some of the best people in the ballroom dance world. I competed as an amateur and professional in the International Latin style and represented Denmark in the Worlds and European Championships. I was fortunate to achieve greatest results and achieve titles both as an amateur and professional competitor.

I owned two studios, Extreme Dancesport and Q Ballroom but after 17 amazing years in business I decided to travel, teach, coach, and adjudicate all over the world while organizing two nationally recognized ballroom dance competition events, Boca Ballroom Dancesport Competition in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Commonwealth Classic in Burlington, MA. I also coach for the Boston University Ballroom Dance Team.
